Урок 10: Экология. «Сохрани свой район чистым».

Тип: комбинированный

Метод: ассоциативный, поисковый, коммуникативный.

Цель: развитие коммуникативных навыков чтения и говорения по теме «Окружающая среда»


— введение лексики методом ассоциаций;

— развитие навыков изучающего чтения текстов по теме «Окружающая среда»;

— развитие навыков аудирования «Ассоциации, вызванные звуками природы»;

— развитие творческих способностей учащихся через АРТ-моб.

Today we’ll learn how to speak about your neighborhood and the ways of helping the environment around you.

First, we’ll learn some new words using the associations, then we’ll read the texts and you will speak about the topic.

Let’s learn the new words using the associations:

парниковый газ – greenhouse gas (зеленый дом с газом)

загрязнитель воздуха – pollutant (полутень на луне от выхлопных газов автомобиля)

охранять, оберегать – preserve (охранники получают призы)

5. Аудирование. (Восприятие на слух).

Close your eyes, listen to the music and think of your neighborhood on Monday morning. What can you see, smell or hear? How does the scene make you feel?

Now, you will work in 3 groups. Each group reads the texts. Mark the unknown words using the pencils, look them in the dictionaries and remember them using the associations. Then read the texts again and translate them.

1. Greeting. Good morning, children, glad to see you again!

2. Completing sentences with the correct word упр.1, стр. 102

— Focus Ss’ attention on the five incomplete sentences in the ‘Did you know?’ box.

— Allow Ss time to complete the sentences individually.

— Ss check their answers using the Word List.

3. Describing an imaginary scene упр.2, стр. 102

— Ask Ss to close their eyes and imagine they are on a spaceship.

— Play the recording and ask Ss to silently imagine the scene. Ask Ss what they are experiencing using the senses. What can you see? Can you see millions of stars? How do you feel? Do you feel amazed? etc

— Draw Ss’ attention to the title of the text (Hello… Is Anyone There?) and write it on the
